Medical Cannabis Clinic Costs and Fees Comparison UK

This table compares published consultation, follow-up, and prescription fees for UK medical cannabis clinics. Medication costs are separate in almost all cases. Some clinics offer membership or subscription plans that reduce the overall cost for regular patients. Prices were last checked 31 July 2026.

Please note: Prices change frequently. Always verify current fees directly with the clinic before booking. This table is for patient information only — MCPH does not recommend any specific clinic. Medication costs are not included in these figures and vary by product, pharmacy, and dosage.

Where a clinic offers a subscription or saver plan, both the standard and reduced-cost estimates are shown. Actual costs depend on your treatment plan, follow-up frequency, and medication choices. Medication costs are not included — see the section below.

How to Use This Table

This table helps you compare the clinic fees — the money you pay to the clinic itself for consultations and prescriptions. It does not include medication costs, which are separate and depend on what you are prescribed.

When comparing clinics, consider the total picture:

We recommend reading our guide on what to ask about clinic fees before signing up and our list of questions to ask before choosing a clinic.

What These Prices Don’t Include

Medication Costs: A Separate Consideration

In almost all UK medical cannabis clinics, medication is prescribed privately and dispensed by a pharmacy. You pay the pharmacy directly for your medicine. Prices vary widely:

Your monthly medication spend depends on what you are prescribed, the dosage, and the pharmacy dispensing it. Some patients spend under £50 per month; others spend several hundred pounds. Read our overview of medical cannabis costs in the UK for a broader breakdown.

Questions to Ask Any Clinic Before Booking

Beyond the fees in the table above, we recommend asking these questions before committing to a clinic:

  1. What is the total cost of the first year, including all expected appointments and repeat prescriptions?
  2. Are there any additional fees you have not mentioned (prescription changes, split deliveries, letters, cancelations)?
  3. Can I choose my pharmacy, and does that affect any fees?
  4. What happens to my subscription or membership if I need to pause treatment?
  5. How often will I need follow-up appointments after the first year?
  6. Do you offer a reduced rate if I am on benefits, a student, or a veteran?
  7. Is the initial consultation refunded if the doctor decides medical cannabis is not suitable for me?
  8. Are appointment prices guaranteed for a set period, or can they change?

For a more detailed list, see our guide: questions to ask before choosing a medical cannabis clinic.
