MCPH aims to explain medical cannabis in plain English for UK patients and carers. Content should be useful, cautious, and clear about limits.
We separate official guidance, clinical research, patient experience, and practical interpretation. We avoid claims that promise relief, cure, guaranteed results, or personalised dosing.
When a topic touches law, prescribing, safety, driving, interactions, pregnancy, children, mental health, or urgent symptoms, the content should use conservative language and point readers back to clinician advice where needed.
MCPH content is reviewed for clarity, medical caution, broken links, outdated claims, and obvious errors. Where guidance or evidence changes, pages may be updated.

Who is accountable for MCPH content
Tyler Casey, MCPH founder and a medical cannabis patient, owns the editorial process. He holds a Medical Cannabis & CBD Oil Diploma and has completed more than 150 strain reviews. He previously published the archive work under the name Tyler Green. He declares no conflicts relating to those historical reviews. His role here is patient and editorial assurance, not clinical approval. MCPH does not present him as a doctor, prescriber, pharmacist or other regulated healthcare professional.
High-risk clinical guidance stays held unless the exact claims, sources and page version receive the review appropriate to that risk. A held page does not show a reviewer or claim clinical approval. General pages are checked for patient usefulness, plain language, internal consistency and source quality.
Sources, AI assistance and updates
MCPH prefers current NHS, NICE, MHRA, GOV.UK, GMC and CQC sources for UK clinical, prescribing, safety and regulatory statements. AI tools may assist with inventory, drafting, clustering and checks, but they do not approve medical claims or publish pages. MCPH remains accountable for the public result.
Every published guide is scheduled for review at least once every 12 months and sooner when a controlling source, law or safety position changes. The first site-wide containment and currency cycle was completed on 19 July 2026; the next routine cycle is due by 19 July 2027. Published and updated dates remain visible on articles. Material corrections are recorded through the corrections process.
